Hello, it's Friday, HOORAY!

Oh Opera!

Last night I went to the Opera! In Penrith that is. I went with my mum to the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre to see Carmen (in english). It had a pretty understated setup - they didn't put much effort into the stage props, but I guess it was a one night show. The live chamber orchestra was nice and the dresses were also. I didn't realise how many songs I knew! It was a good night.

Not so grating on your ears

I recently bought The Grates cd - Gravity Won't Get You High. It's not too bad - I really liked the vdo clip for 19 20 20. The little animal costumes are so cute! How I would love to go to a dress up party like that!

Paper Kimono Girl

There's a lot of cutting and glueing in making this kimono girl... I'm obsessed with the paper (Yuzen).. so gorgeous!!

Where is the ring-pull?

I took this can of single serve Pink Salmon to work for lunch, but unlike the tuna I get - there was no ring-pull! It doesn't seem fair that single serve tuna cans get all the luck. Who can resist the combination of salmon meat + skin + bone? Yum! =)

Gotye Yey!

I got my Gotye CD today! I tried 3 music stores and couldn't find it, so I ordered off their website. Only took 2 days!

Coffee Modelling

We got to see a live photo shoot today at Argosini - only the best place for coffee in St Leonards! Until today, I had never really thought of the skill involved in modelling as a coffee customer.
